Marsden has delivered an impressive performance at this year’s Summer Pent tournament, finishing third overall after competing across all three sporting codes for the first time.

The team enjoyed standout success in Touch Rugby, going unbeaten throughout the competition. In Tennis, Marsden secured third place following a series of closely contested matches, while the Cricket team achieved a commendable fourth-place finish.

This year marked a significant milestone, with Marsden entering teams in Cricket, Tennis, and Touch Rugby for the first time in the tournament’s history. A group of 25 students travelled to Masterton, where they competed over two days at a high level, demonstrating both skill and determination.

Individual excellence was also recognised at the prizegiving, with Kiara named Most Valuable Player for Touch Rugby, Arna for Cricket, and Sophia for Tennis.

A big thanks to the staff and parents who supported the teams, helping make the campaign possible.

With a strong foundation now established, Marsden’s young teams are already looking ahead and are eager to take on the challenge again next year.
