On Thursday 5 June, 13 of our talented Year 5 and 6 students travelled to Huntley School in Marton to take part in a spirited sports exchange, joining schools from across the region including Wellesley and QMC.
Representing Marsden as the Marigolds and Magnolias, our two netball teams took to the court with skill, energy, and determination. It was a fantastic day of sport that not only showcased strong netball ability but also emphasised the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and connection.
Across the games, our players demonstrated excellent passing, movement, and on-court communication. More importantly, they approached every match with enthusiasm and respect, making new friendships along the way - particularly with their hosts from Huntley.
A special congratulations goes to Amalia and Maddie, who were both recognised for their outstanding attitude and fair play, receiving Sportsmanship Awards from Huntley staff.
Well done to all players and thank you to Huntley School for their warm hospitality - we’re already looking forward to the next exchange!
