Last weekend, Analin (Year 13) and Emma (Year 9) represented Marsden at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Track, Field, and Road Race Championship in Timaru, achieving incredible results.
Emma kicked off with the 3000m Junior Girls Track event, battling tough competition and heat to finish 5th with a personal best time of 10:22.
On Saturday, Analin dominated the Senior Girls Triple Jump, earning Gold with an impressive 11.54m jump.
Sunday morning saw Emma race in the Junior Girls 4km Road Race, where she secured a well-deserved Silver medal in 14:39 after an intense neck-and-neck battle.
Analin rounded out the weekend with a Bronze medal in the Senior Girls Long Jump, reaching 5.28m, and was also selected for the New Zealand Secondary Schools Championship Team — a huge honour.
