Marsden’s netballers have been busy over the past few weeks, participating in exciting events across different age groups.

Year 1/2 Wellington West Festival Days: On 10 and 17 August, our youngest netballers enjoyed two fun-filled festival days hosted by Wellington West Netball at Cardinal McKeefry School. The Year 1 and 2 teams had an amazing time, with lots of laughter and lollies to celebrate their efforts! A huge thank you to our incredible coaches, Charlie and Paige, for their support and encouragement throughout the festival.

Year 7/8 Maidstone Invitational Netball Tournament: On Sunday, 14 July, our K1 team took part in the Maidstone Invitational Tournament, competing against teams from across the Wellington, Lower Hutt, and Upper Hutt regions. The team faced tough competition, but it was fantastic preparation for the upcoming AIMS Games.

Two weeks later, on 28 July, both K1 and K2 teams returned to Maidstone. Despite the cold and wet conditions, both teams performed admirably and gained valuable playing experience. A special shoutout to Georgia from K2, who was named MVP and proved to be a superstar on and off the court!

Well done to all our players for their dedication and enthusiasm, and thank you to the coaches, staff, and supporters who helped make these events such great experiences!
