Marsden recently participated in the Senior Pentangular Tournament, hosted by St Matthew's Collegiate, alongside Nga Tawa, Iona College, and Woodford House. It was an exciting and intense competition with Marsden taking top spot in netball and placing fourth in hockey.

A special congratulations to our Players of the Tournament: Macy for netball and Nishka for hockey, who both performed outstandingly.  Also big thank yous to all our supporters who travelled to Masterton to cheer on the teams.

Hockey: Our hockey team had an incredible experience in Masterton, playing four intense games over two days. Day one saw back-to-back matches, followed by an early morning game on day two. The highlight of the tournament was our fantastic win against Nga Tawa! Beyond the victories, the team grew closer, with each player stepping up their game and refining their skills ahead of tournament week. The team spirit was high, with lots of laughs, team bonding, and significant improvements. Everyone is looking forward to Winter Tournament with renewed confidence!

Netball: Marsden’s Senior A netball team had a highly successful run at Pentangular, coming away with four wins. The team relished the opportunity to play against new opposition and gained valuable learnings to take back for their upcoming LNISS tournament. The quality matches helped sharpen their game, and the support from coaches, managers, staff, and parents was greatly appreciated.
